Join us every Tuesday at 7pm for Quiz Night, hosted by our very own quizmaster Nick. This isn’t your usual pen-and-paper pub quiz—it’s a fast-paced speed quiz where you’ll use your phone to answer questions in real time. Expect laughs, a bit of friendly rivalry, and some seriously obscure trivia. No booking needed, just turn up and get stuck in. Winners walk away with bar vouchers (and eternal glory, obviously).

Run by Mairead, our monthly Book Club is a relaxed and welcoming space for readers of all kinds. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at 7pm to chat about the current read over a pint or two. No pressure to be a literary expert—just bring your thoughts, your copy of the book (or your curiosity), and settle in. It’s about sharing stories, perspectives, and good company.

On the first Sunday of every month, from 6pm to 9pm, the mic is yours. Our Open Mic Night is hosted by the talented She’s Electric Duo and is open to all—whether you’re a seasoned performer or just fancy having a go. Singers, musicians, poets, and performers of all kinds are welcome. It’s free to attend, and the vibe is all about encouragement and enjoyment. Come to play, come to listen, or just soak up the atmosphere with a beer in hand.

Every now and then, we team up with our neighbours at FIVE Cakes to bring you a special kind of treat—Afternoon Teas at Solomon’s. These events pop up on key dates like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and other special occasions. Expect beautifully baked cakes, proper tea service, and the option to swap the brew for a beer.
